Meet Captain Erik Davis
Meet Captain Erik Davis And Tidewater Fishing
Tidewater Fishing Services is under the capable leadership of Captain Erik Davis who boasts two decades of experience in the industry. This 38-year-old family man is married to Jennifer Davis and is a proud father of two lovely daughters, Adrianna and Gracie (ages 14 and 12), and three stepchildren Aurora, Messiah, and Caleb (ages 16, 17, and 23).
Erik's passion for fishing was inherited from his father, Cpt. Gary Davis, who started his fishing services career in Baldwin County Alabama back in 1973. Erik first worked as a deckhand during summers when he was just 13 and continued to do so until he graduated from High school. He eventually obtained his captain license in 2006 and became the first mate/deckhand to his father before he became a Cpt. of his own vessel.
Erik's fishing expertise lies in light tackle fishing that targets speckled trout, redfish, sheepshead, bull reds, flounder, and white trout. Beyond his work, Erik spends his free time teaching his five children how to love the outdoors and take on exciting fishing adventures. Capt. Erik is genuinely passionate about working with kids and warmly welcomes customers with children of all ages to join him aboard the "Teresa D" for a memorable experience with Mother Nature.
